'OMG!' Director bribed for 'PK’! Aamir Khan denies

While PK' is making an impact over the box office and audience alike, the film has got into bad news simultaneously. Several reviews found the Aamir Khan starrer vaguely following the God-and-religion theme from Umesh Shukla's well acclaimed 2010 film OMG! Oh My God!' Following this, speculations were rife that the actor had earlier tried to bribe Shukla with Rs. 8 crore for stalling his film. It was alleged that both director Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir had tried to convince Shukla to back out from releasing OMG!'

When asked on this, Aamir in an interview clarified that the news is false and team PK' had not done any such thing. Justifying the fact that there are hundreds of films which would have similar themes, Aamir added that this doesn't mean they are copying. "Reports stating we tried paying off Umesh Shukla for stalling OMG! Oh My God are all lies," stated Aamir, who plays an Alien in PK'.
